Competition Weekend 2015, Region 1
We had a great weekend with all our Sweet Adeline International, Region 1 friends singing in the beautiful Springfield, Mass opera house. What a blast! There were seven of us onstage from the Valley Chords. Small but mighty! Had great support from our Region 1 sisters and enjoyed watching all the talent. The mass sing is alway impressive with everyone in the opera singing a song together. The official picture and video are yet to come once we get official permission to post it.
Retreat-Tying up loose ends
We are getting ready for Springfield evaluation during competition weekend! Thank you to Annette from Millennium Magic for and awesome weekend of coaching and Laura for jazzing up our stage make-up and hair care.
A few of us made it to the St. Patrick’s Day celebration with the North Country Chordsmen. We had a lot of laughs and music. Thank you guys for the invitation!

Hockey Game
We sang the National Anthem for the Dartmouth College Men’s Hockey game against Clarkson. It’s always fun and a little bit of a unique experience. Next year YOU can do it too! Come join us.

Christmas Events 2014
During the month of December we sang carols at several retirement homes and finished up with a concert at La Salette Chapel Saturday, December 20th, 2014 and enjoyed the lights and sounds of Christmas outside.

We are Singing!
The Valley Chords Chorus will be singing at ARTWORKS, the Dartmouth Employees annual event to showcase the arts interests and accomplishments of employees. Carmen Wilmot and Janet Whyte are current Dartmouth employees, Carmen is the Chemistry Department and Janet works at the Hood Museum. We’re looking forward to singing our two new songs!
