2016!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.  Wow! 2015 has come and gone.  We had a quiet Holiday season with a lot of singing and reflecting on the up coming year.  We shared our music at a couple nursing homes and really enjoyed singing with the residents.  January we start our new season and look forward to the year ahead.

We Can Sing for Your Supper

We had a great timing singing for the crowd at the turkey supper hosted by the United Methodist church in White River Junction.  We sang for the waiting crowd as well as a few numbers for the folks seated at the tables.   Book us!  We would love it.

North Country Chordsmen Show

We had a great time of singing and fun with the North Country Chordsmen at the Lebanon Opera.  If you missed the show, put it on your calendar for next year! We sang two songs by ourselves and then a joint piece with the guys.  Several quartets sang.  It was fun to sit and chat with other singers while waiting for our turn or sit out in the audience to watch the show.

Regional Weekend

We just came back from regional weekend.  It was a blast!  We wish we had pictures to share but everything was moving so fast it was hard to get good pictures worthy of posting.  There were lots of classes and we filled our brains with information.  Bringing one or two things back to the chorus is our goal.  Six of us were there so if we each bring back one idea that is six new techniques or thoughts to make the group better.  Winter regional we can gather some more.  The international faculty coach this year was Betty Clipman.  The chorus’ and quartets going to Las Vegas for competition had some great fine tuning to make them better than they already are.

Openhouse October 7th

Our openhouse is coming up October 7th with a coach from Region 1.  Please join us for lots of fun, food, and laughter.  Come  for the evening to make some new friends, greet old friends and check out the sights and sounds.  Consider returning the following week, we are always looking for new singers and would love to have you return the following week and see if Valley Chords is the place for you.  No experience necessary, just bring your smile.

Sing for the Summer

Come join us and sing July and August.  It’s free!   Have you ever wanted some music education?   Do not say “I can’t sing” until you try.  Do you want the melody?  Try lead.  Are you already a musician and want to challenge yourself? Try baritone.  We look forward to seeing you.

Come see us sing at the Hanover Center Fair!
